My First Maternity Shoot!...
...and well, first shoot since I've started my business! I've never taken maternity pictures before and when I was doing research for ideas, I decided this was probably the scariest one to start off with (with relatively new camera, new equipment, rules that I have learned but have not yet applied, etc. as well as knowing the importance of this shoot!)
Anyway... here are a few shots...

Last one is gorgeous. The lighting is beautiful and the bw conversion is really nice.

Very, very nice. The last one is fantastic--you've really captured a connection between your subjects. I like the angle on the second. You might crop tighter on the first to focus more on the hands and belly while eliminating negative space, but really, you've got a lot to be proud of here!

the last is my favorite too! the second is good but looks uncomfortable to me.

Great photography here. They look so happy and the perspective you put on them really sets the images apart. Great use of creativity!

These are great. and I love the last one...but the second had a suprise that really made it a fav...there is a shadow on the mommas belly that is an upside down heart...it doesn't look like it was photoshopped in so I take it that is was something that happened and no one noticed...but its one of those little things that catches my eye and just makes it the best....Love it! super duper great pic! I hope they love it too! Ri

You can just feel the love between these two in the third shot. Beautiful glowing Mommy to be! I also really loved the last one the very best of all. Fabulous lighting, love the black and white, and the look they are sharing just shouts volumes. Fantastic work and I am sure they will forever treasure these moments you have captured so beautifully!
