Default My 1st macro - new lenses are too much fun!!!

I went out today and bought myself a new toy - a Micro Nikkor 105mm 2.8G ED lens. Man, it is too much fun!!! So here for your viewing I share my first macro photo of a shell.

Yes, new lenses are fun. You are making me want to go out and buy a new one!

Lisa - you really have to get this little baby. It is too cool. Can't wait for daylight tomorrow. Garden is going to get a hammering - lots of photos to take.

Default roses are red

is this called macro if I just took a close shot of the rose but didn't change the lens...
Sorry I'm new to photography...

I know what you mean. I just got tubes for mine last week ... still having fun with those. Your shot here is great !! Love the dog you got on this one
