Default Something different

Something a little different for me. Forced myself to get away from the long wildlife lens, and use a wider lens for a change. These were shot with a canon 28-135mm kit lens. Hope you like them.

Yes, I know the feeling.....I shot a great deal many pictures with the long lens and have a hard time time parting with it because in my case I would be going after close up presentations of those tulips. We sometimes need to step back and appreciate the larger picture as you have done with your 2nd shot

Love the second one. There are so many tulips and such beautiful colours.
Is this in the Washington area? When I was over there last year this is what I think of when I think of Washington.
Glad you swapped lenses if this is what we get to see. Thanks for sharing.

Changing lenses also taught me a few things, this time. Like keeping your camera level. Much easier to tilt the camera when your shooting wide angles. Also a couple of the shots had some distortion and i had to use the perspective tool for the first time. (could have been crooked doors, but had to straighten them just the same). Slick tool!

Thank's macroMe, these were shot at a park in Wheeling WVa. Here is a link to a little history of Ogelbay park

Yes, I like them! All four of them! Interesting perspectives, great color. I'm glad I got to see them.

<--suffers from the same problem lol

Love the pattern of that window grill ( I sell windows lol ) .. just amazing with that BG ..

Parks bench alert ! always a good subject ... but you had to get a bunch of them and add some beautiful flowers in there .. great comp !
the single collor of tulips in the 3rd is also very good .. love it .
and I love the soft yellow and deep green in the last .. great focus !

Kinda cool how nothing was moving huh, didn;t have to hurry before it flew away !! ..,. great to see you changing it up with such excellent results Prime !
