Talking Run A Ground

Run a Ground

Wow its been a really long time since I posted to the forum. I hope you all are doing well. Just wanted to share this shot from a while back that I thought turned out well. Tons of fun stuff on my flickr page if any one wants to check them out.

A bit more info about the picture:
This picture was taken right after I got back from a trip to France. After hours on the plane I just didn't feel like staying at home so I drove down to the beach to go for a walk. When I got there I saw this sailboat that had run a ground and was starting to draw a crowd of people around it. As a sailor its never a fun sight to see a boat in this state. I never found out if she was rescued or not but it is my hope that she was....

Wherever you have been joshuaben, welcome back and nice to meet you. I love your capture, very dramatic and lovely colours. I too hope no one was hurt in the making of your photograph. Great work my friend. I hope you are back to stay.

Jake

What an amazing shot! The colors are spectacular! I love the contrast between the beauty of the scene and the drama of the boat. Excellent capture.
