Hi everyone,

The roses are really starting to look gorgeous in the garden at the moment so I thought I'd share a couple of shots I took recently.

Teresa
These are just perfect flower photographs. I do hope many members of this site look at these because, in my opinion, flower photography doesn't get better than this. You have chosen excellent composition and retained a full color range. Absolutely top work. Very well done

Great photos!

I actually plan on taking photos of flowers, when they start blooming here.

Can you tell us what settings you used to get these photos?

Thanks

Hi Freybear,

I used Aperture Priority with a setting of F8 and my lens was set at 160mm for the rosebud and 200mm for the rose. I did some pp on them and cropped them to get the emphasis I wanted. Hope this helps.
