all these were very great shots...but I loved this last one most...It makes you want to know what she was looking at? was she saying a prayer of thanks? checking out some lovely stainclass wondows? What really does it tthough it she is focused and everythng else is just out of foucs...its very nice...a very unique capture!

I like the third one. I would be the kind of photographer who would be good at catching the candid moments. Not the cliched ones. Of course, that's what most of the brides want- all the usual, boring smiling and facing hte camera shots. I'm glad you took some from some different angles.

Just last night I got asked by a friend to shoot her wedding. I said no because I had no experience, and I fancy myself more of a photographer of things instead of people. Had you done any dry runs or practices at other weddings before this one?

She was looking at the huge ceiling and stained glass. I like it because to me, she's the only one who sees the angels. It's my favorite 'non-wedding party' shot that I took.

I absolutely LOVE the 700. I just upgraded from the d80 and actually used the d80 as a second camera. All of these were used with the 700 and, when flipping through the photos, I can pick out the ones that were taken with which camera. Those photos are ISO 2000!!!!! I was shooting at ISO 1250 with the d80 and there was much more noise, but I couldn't use the flash that close to the altar. (And didn't want to anyways!)

No dry runs or anything. I did attend the rehearsal the night before, took lots of photos. I have been shooting families, small children and large church events, and sports for the past year or so, so my main challenge was the timing and pace of everything. I was second shooting this one as well, so I didn't have as much pressure. I had a lot of fun, despite the migraine that started just before the ceremony!
