Default A few moon shots

I was inspired by some of the moon pictures I've seen here and decided to look back through my photos to see what I had... Here are a few for the DPS gang's perusal, I hope you enjoy them.

Taken when the moon was rising through the haze. In PP I cropped and pushed the reddish orange color some and cleaned up the noise.

From DPS Photos

I don't remember when I did this one. But I did crop it and cleaned up the noise.

This one I took during the day in a ghost town called Bodie, in CA. In PP I cropped and pushed the blue color a little bit.

From DPS Photos

As always, any comments are appreciated very welcome. Thanks for looking!

I know what you mean Kristin. I have a whole bunch that didn't turn out very good at all. Think tripod and very slow shutter speed... Glad you like them.

Fabulous shots. I like the 2nd one with the sharp contrast of light and dark. You have done a great job with these.

All of these are probably as good as that lens of yours will allow. I know mine is a bit similar, maybe a touch less sharp. I lust for a long lens and a telescope!

I know the feeling. The images are as good as I can get with the kit zoom... I plan to get a longer one before a trip to Alaska next year. Then we'll see how it goes. Thanks for looking!

Very nice variation of moonshots Fred. Same object but it is amazing how we all see it different. Great natural object to practice settings an you have shown it very well Fred. Nice work in all of them.
