Default ME ! ( well you've been wondering )

Hi, It's me ... don't expect much in terms of quaility, taken with my Canon P&S which frustrates the hello out of me .. but at work today i planned to shoot some more common birds in my backyard and while I was out there I thought I might show my face on Flickr and here at DPS

Me
it's overblown .. sheesh shooting people is hard outside ( I never do ) LOL ! doesn't matter ... not my chosen form of the craft, least not in the present , and it really makes you self-conscience to do a self portrait ! I'm not really like that insecure about my apperance ( middle age does that !!) ... but anyway here I am doing what I love

please don't throw rotten fruit !!!
Vin

Vin! Was there a swan operating the point & shoot? It would only be fitting. Good to put a face to the name...and also I now have lens envy

I'm certainly not throwing rotten fruit. I'm throwing rotten EGGS.

Of course you know I'm kidding, my very dear friend! I'm so glad to finally put a face to the name. And, this is a very well-executed shot. You look relaxed and happy to have your picture taken. I say well-done (and handsome, to boot!)

Pictures of people? Photography is for the birds, right??

Thanks for posting the self-portrait. You look quite comfortable, with your "L" lens, stool, etc.

I think it is a great shot, because like you said... it is you in your element, that is great. Very nice self portrait. This is off topic, but WOW, your camera is amazing!!

I love being able to put a face to a name and now to all those eloquent posts. Susan was right, and handsome to boot! Are you happy to see me or is your lens wide open? Sorry, I couldn't refuse. Ha ha!
Now I too have a case of lens lust! Great casual relaxed shot! Thanks for sharing yourself with us!
