Default The Devil Wears Plaid Shorts

365.56 - The Devil Wears Plaid Shorts

This was taken as one of 7 exposures for a failed HDR attempt, but it didn't work out for a couple reasons. First, the difference in stops was too great. When I exposed for Pete the background was so bright it was blowing out around him and killing the edges. Second, it was windy and by the time I could set a new shutter speed each time the clouds had moved too much.

But that said, the clouds were very cool, and he was posing very ominously. A couple gradients later and you've got yourself a fine End of Days shot.

Love the clouds. A very dramatic shot.

The Devil Wears Plaid Shorts. Would be a kick butt song title. Thanks for sharing

That was the original title for the book, but someone thought "Prada" sounded more glamorous. I respectfully disagree...

Very interesting shot. Though thought of anyone in plaid shorts is kind of scarry.
