He walked right up to me, so I put him on this branch and clicked away with my Sigma 105mm f 2.8 macro

Thanks everyone, I have no Idea what kind of beetle it is, funny though, after I went to change my lens, I can back and It was Gone!!!!, now the darned thing is somewhere in the house. I hope I find it soon, so I can put it back outside!!.
