A pleasure to see all those things from days gone by. I especially like the cracked paint around the Ford emblem. It brings back memories of my parents '46 Ford. It was black and the paint would chalk (kinda powdery on the surface, but not dirt). I remember rubbing my fingers down the door. The chalky part would come off and it would be shiny underneath. Glad you got these before you got chased off.

thx guys .. why was I chased off? Some silly little " we're only open weekends .. July and August .. The back gate is only open to let in staff to prepare" .. She didn't like my response "prepare what? It's all in a slow decay .. See you in July, and yes I know where the back gate is now" .. hee hee

Great find and a great series of pictures. It is difficult when you find something interesting, and that is going to be open............. but not quite yet. At least you managed a few pictures before being chased out by the happy farmer's assistant.

They have to let the staff in to prepare for nosey photographers trying to get in out of season. He he..lol.. Great capures Jack with excellent detail. Normally we say right place, right time. But Sorry buddy, this time right place, wrong time. Nice story with some excellent results.
