Default A glimpse of one of my favorite playing fields.....

a small view from a hilltop. Can you find the giraffe? This was taken at full zoom to try and capture the 'hidden' giraffe hence the tiny view of what is one side of an enormous area.

Our roadway...

pedestrians you have to constantly be on the look out for. Larger ones you cannot miss.

local-traffic

a view of our bush runway.... has to be checked before landing or takeoff incase an animal has dug a hole. Sometimes you have to 'buzz' the runway first to chase rhino, zebra or some other occupant away.

Mike this is taken in an area south-west of the Kruger National Park in South Africa called the Klasserie. Although the animals have free reign and can come and go as they please, humans are limited as this is a private nature reserve and the lodges are all privately owned as well. It is awesome as we can do many things that tourists cannot, like hike through the wilds (game ranger and tracker with rifles in tow of course, the animals are WILD) and yet see the same wildlife but from a different perspective.
