I like these and I'm guessing you used a light box. I like that I can't see where the base ends and the background begins and it's all so beautifully coloured. The third picture is my favourite with the double shadow on the base, and the light and shade within the candy.

Thank you Beach! Yes, these were taken as test of my new homemade light box. The box works well, I just need to get some decent lighting now....

I was sad when we opened this box of candies and they were all very stale..Yuck...but I guess some good came from them before they hit the trash..

beautiful shots of the ducks in a row. I really like the colors. Although one of my first thoughts was "who has left over easter candy?" Makes sense with the stale stuff though.

I adore those little duck candies! I wish I could find those somewhere They're very cute and they have great colours.

Thanks Nicole ...Hmmm, from the taste and staleness of these, I believe they stopped making them in 1970 something :P..... I got these from a store call Big Lots. I saved a few for later shoots and rainy days

Simply lovely shots ! Did you get the DIY light box from here as I am making one and love the result I got from one I mocked up but the one here is better so doing that !

Lovely shots and, I think, very well thought out. There are gorgeous colors, pin sharpness and great DOF where required. Superb. Very well done
