A Father For A Day

My brother had his first child born Sunday morning. Alex, was born five weeks early, induced labor, due to complications his mother was having. Fortunately both mother and baby are in perfect health. Alex, unfortunately has a bit of Jaundice, which is not uncommon, and is lying under the UV lights for the evening. I was there today when he went into his bed and I snapped this picture of my younger sibling watching over his child.

That is such a tender moment and you can see the love and concern on his face. Im glsd everything turned out ok. This photo is a once in a life time shot and a real treasure.

chilling.. both our boys were real early .. first son was 6 weeks early - in for 5 weeks, lots of care and complications .. second boy - 4 weeks early, cried for milk and demanded to be out in less than a week .. I just got off the golf course with them - 17 and 14 year old near men .. the big guy took me by a stroke and the young one is closing in fast .. the chilling part is that one of the boys are named Alexander - Alex or big Al as the day goes .. pls share that with your brother and family .. Neonatel care is seriously first rate .. take care ..
