I have'nt posted a shot of a waterfall for a while, This one is at the Gordale Scar in North Yorkshire in the UK, I risked life and limp for this shot with a full on climb. Just a little inscription I found at the head of the scar on a Plaque.
"...Every object conspires to produce one of the grandest specticles in nature. The rocks dart their bold and rugged fronts to heavens, and impending fearfully over the head of the spectator, seem to threaten his immediate destruction." Edward Dayes 1805 So here goes, Hope you like. ![]() Thanks for looking.

This is just so beautiful Tryfan. I have missed your waterfalls, and you bring them back with a classic. Love the little show of light from a small tunnel where the water is falling from. Just a gorgeous capture Tryfan.

Ok, don't go getting hurt just to get a waterfall !!! ( I know your passion for them, you can't help yourself !! ) I'm thinking you might need repealing gear and a harness if you keep this up ! LOL !!
What a treat to see you come back to Waterfalls, in the past weeks you have been all over different styles and subjects of photography showing diversity with some outstanding photos... But for me, Tryfan is the Waterfall Man, and even if it's only one every few weeks it's enough. Light and dark, soft and hard textures, Rocks and water .. Beautiful framing, your classic milky softened water, and the angle of the hillside adds a little tension to my view... Well done Bud ! Vin

Great capture. I really like it. I wonder if it was really sunny that day.
