Default Nikki Sue Nikon goes on a photo shoot

I recently got a new lens, a 70-300 Sigma, so I took Nikki Sue Nikon out yesterday to get acquainted with her new mate. Nikki Sue wasn't born with all the advantages her brothers and sisters had, so the doctors at Nikon had to spend some extra time getting her ready for the world. Unfortunately, she was labelled "refurbshed" and no one wanted her. However, I have a big heart (and small wallet) so she found a home with me, but she needs quantity time, not quality time, so we have to spend a lot of time together. Nikki sue just loves a photo shoot! We started in downtown Winder and wound up in a field of wild clover. Nikki sue loves to go barefoot, so here's some pictures she wanted to share with you.

Being "special", Nikki knows how it feels to be different from the rest of the crowd:

Nikki Sue appreciates it when others embrace our differences...

And finally, at home, Nikki Sue wanted to take one just for Lindyanna Jones. It's a budding prickly pear in a pot on her deck, which was dug up from the woods near the house. When all was done, Nikki Sue said "I really like my new Sigma mate!"

Nikki may not have been born with all the advantages but she certainly knows how to be special. Her 'sensor' is amazingly sharp and glistens with 'clarity'. Her 'eye' manages to perceive beauty from a unique perspective. Most of all it is very evident that she loves to prance barefoot through the flowers. I can almost hear her singing and clicking with delight as she introduces her new mate to the wonders of God's creation. Childlike in simplicity she sees the beauty in what many view as a useless weed and portrays it as a masterpiece. Color and light, clarity and bokeh are most definately the combination of her uniqueness and bond with her new mate.

Thank you Nikki Sue and Mike for taking my senses on a journey of pure delight.

Nikki Sue, is certainly a good friend. She's out with you in all weathers, never complains, never exposes herself too much and is always happy to please. And please does with these four little gems. Beautifully captured and presented, Nikki Sue, you make your man look good, grrrrr

Thanks for looking and thanks for your comments. Nikki Sue says the colours(colors) are just as nice whether they are written in the Queen's English or the American version!

Thank you beach! We won't mention the first 80 or so shots in downtown Winder when Nikki Sue forgot to reset her white balance from tungsten to daylight....but I still love her just the same.

Nice pic's fstop, there isn't anything wrong with that lens. However , you might need to do something about the split personality.
