There was a steam Gala in Llangollen the other week and I went for a few days to shoot all them old / restored steam trains that were running. Some very rare ones were there. I am not really a train fan but the photographic opportunity just couldnt be missed. So you will be seeing a few shots of trains in the next couple of days lol. C+C very welcome xx

Wow char, these are excellent captures, a real blast from the past. The colours in all these images are superb and I love the perspective in the last one. thank you for sharing this event and for taking me back to my youth. Great work char.

I thought the last one was incredible. Most certainly something you see in a train magazine or coffee table book, even a calendar.

You are so right Mechanic. I love looking at other peeps photos and more often then not think... wish I was there. But most of the time it makes me get up and explore my own neighborhood, to see if I can find something similar. But whats even better is that you can actually talk to people all over the world about something you all got in common. I love technology lol. xx
