Four great pictures, I can only imagine how hard it must be to get close to these creatures, it must be even more difficult with young deer present. They clearly know you're there so well done for capturing and presenting this tremendous series

it's absolutely amazing how they have locked in on you so well .. they were likely munching away and heard one snap or camera click and nailed you .. then you nailed them (all 4 shots) thx for sharing ..

These suburban "rats" are in my back yard everyday. They aren't even afraid of my three Huskies any more. I can walk out and make noise and they just stare at me. IF I get too close the big males will come out stamp their front paws and snort at me. That is there signal to stay back. It also helps using a 300mm lens
