Prepare for touchdown, lower landing gear. Beach This is an amzing capture. You have absolutely nailed it. Great timing and you must have stayed on him a while before you pulled the trigger. One of your best yet buddy. This is just Awesome.

WOW!!! Beach, what a fabulous capture. I love everything about this. So beautiful - wonderful timing, and you froze him in perfect mid-flight. The detail of the bird compliments the creamy DOF. Lovely.

Looks like the tail flaps are up and the feet are down.... ready for a fine splashdown landing. Good one Beach!

Thanks Mrs H, I was pleased with this picture, I stalked this poor bird for about twenty minutes, and missed one great opportunity and thought that was it, luckily he came back again

Beach, another great shot! Love the freezing frame action on this guy. It is a riot with the tail feathers up and the web feet open
