Default diving dolphine dad!

Well, I saw Chip's post of his water shot called "backstroke" and i was kinda jealous! haha, so it makes me want to post one of my water shots up. It's not as beautiful as Chip's but i still think it's an interesting photo.

It's a picture of my dad that i had attempted with my underwater casing. Initially i tried to get it so it would be half underwater and half above water. After several attempts i could only capture like a quarter above and and 3/4 quarters underwater. I would have had him keep diving in but he looked like he was getting tired. oh well, i guess i just got to settle with this.

diving dad

Enjoy!

Very cool! Do you scuba dive? Just wondering since you have invested in underwater casing.....

kristine, I actually bought one of the cheaper casings... about 200 dollars. I bought one because i knew i was going snorkeling in the coral reefs and i figure i test how it would affect how i move about swimming underwater. and how the pictures took to see if i would like to actually buy a casing with external controls for scuba diving. I learned that it makes you float like not other so depending on the scuba suit and gear one might need weights and I'm definitely going to need to get underwater strobes to bring out the color in the fishes and corals. So, i found a casing for just about $900. Talk about excited for my next trip.
Glad you liked the shot.

rawhulk, not a problem. Not sure if you are talking about my experimental one or the one i aim to buy so i shall give you both links to the products. The first link is the cheap one. The second link is the hardcases

i didnt realize that the hardcase was priced in pounds so it's a bit more then i thought originally.

Glad you liked the photo. happy shooting.
