Default Thunder over Louisville

My first stab at fireworks, there were a lot to choose from, an awesome fireworks display!I! It's tough to change your settings in the dark though! I think I'll do better next time, but I was happy with them for a first attempt. I didn't have a tripod, so I couldn't go too low with the shutter speed.

Default Love your images

Congrats on taking such beautiful pics. I love your fireworks. I was thinking about the 18-200 vr, but ended up springing for the 14-24 f2.8 instead. I own a D300, but you really can't go wrong with Nikon or Cannon for that matter. Keep up the great work!!

These are really fantastic even more so for knowing you did not use a tripod! Excellent! I really love them all but the color in the last one really gets my WOW!
