It has been said: "If you don't like the weather in Kansas... wait a while. We had a blinding blizzard Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. Today, it is warm and the snow is melting fast. All the more reason I am happy I got out Saturday with camera in hand.
This first image is of a snow covered path at a park near my home. I was the first one to tread on the snow in this area. The park was as quiet as a church. Really neat. ![]() This next image is from the same area, a little further down the lane. I called this image "Snow Covered Arch" When I got home and uploaded the photos from my camera. I noticed at pop bottle stuck in a dead log. It stood out like a sore thumb. I started my Photoshop class last weak, so long pop bottle. Money well spent. ![]() This image is from the lake that is in our little home addition. The areas around Wichita tend to flood in the spring, summer and fall rains. Many additions dig ponds and use the dirt to raise the land in the addition to prevent flooding. These areas make great wet lands for ducks, geese and turtles. Mama duck was happy to model her new feather wrap for me. ![]() Lastly, is an image from my own backyard. I have an ornamental wind mill out back. Yesterday I captured several images of ice cycles decorating the old mill. I thought it was really neat how they spaced out so even. ![]() Well, there you have it for another day. I hope you all have a blessed week. Thanks for looking, F4
