Oh to be living in such a scenic place Moi. I take it this is a new town for you. Portugal must be a place of so much history and places to explore. I look forward to seeing more of this country through your lens.

Hi Batch!
I bought the house December 2007 and, hope one day,to live there. I've visited Portugal since 1977 and have always loved the country. This area, East of Coimbra, was new to me and it is so beautiful. As you rightly say-a country rich in history. Thanks for the comments.

I was born in Lisbon and left the country at 11 months old. Went back when I was 17 but haven't been back since (almost 20 years!). I'm overdue for a visit. The last time I was there was to visit family in Arronches (Portalegre). I have visited Azores recently (2005/2003). If anyone would like to view them they are here. Note, these were taken pre-DSLR.

These pictures are so good, it shows Portugal in a way I didn`t know existed, of course I only know Portugal from visiting the Algarve. Time to broaden my horizons.

Hi tingeliM-I was due to go to Madeira but couldn't make it. It's definitely a place I want to explore-walking. I hope you do get back there one day.
Thank you very much for the lovely feedback.

Hi billmac-several people on my French forum have said exactly the same thing-saw the Algarve and had no idea what the rest of the country was like. I did visit the Algarve but long before all the mass development.

It would be great if you got the chance to explore the country.
Thank you for the positive comments.
