Hi again Moi. Breath taking view. I can almost feel the cold wind through my bones as I look at the icy chairs(distant cry from Brissy) . Wonderful...can't wait to see the rest.

Hi Teddles-it's a stunning place-really hard to drive and take it all in sometimes. I was frozen to the bone jumping in and out of the car to get my pictures. Definitely a far cry from your neck of the woods!

Hi Moi,

I imagine you leaving each care behind, one curve of the road at a time, crossing a bridge of clouds to a place of solitude, restoring in mountains the way you once did while sailing. Solitude is good, yes? Sometimes it takes many bends in the road to reach a quiet place. With roads like this, it must have been quiet as a church mouse by the time you reached the snow.

Hi there cousin!
Solitude is wonderful-just the fresh, cold air and absolutely right-the quiet. Manteigas is high up and the hotel was even higher-more like a small, cosy house-with owners second to none;cared for all guests and respected privacy-perfect combination! And the fire at night............magical.
