Cool Some light trails

Hello DPS. First of all, thanks for all your comments on my last posts and the constructive criticism you gave, it really meant a lot.

The other night I went out and shot some light trail shots.
These two, in my opinion, were the best ones from the group.

Any ideas/insights on better ways to shoot light trails would be helpful?

Flashinglights

I took this shot with a 20 sec. shutter speed. Used a tripod. My first REAL attempt at light trails with an SLR.

Overpass

This one was the same as the last, 20 sec. shutter. Tripod. Just a mile or so from the last shot.
