I have always wanted to take a good shot for a Bee! I am Busybee after all and unfair to be unable to get a good shot for one at least
Well I guess this time I managed to take a good one after two hours of chasing them in my house garden.

Great macro shot. I don't understand why you'd want to be so close to a bee though.
I love the detail on the eyes. This particular bee looks very interesting.

First to explain why would I want to be close to a bee!
When I chose this nick name I wanted something really
represents me and since I was working like a bee in and
outside the house this name has always been close to my heart.
So taking a shot of what I dearly appreciate is an important thing to me!

Thank you very much BabetteKD for your lovely comment, very encouraging

I'm afraid of bees, and it always boggles me how people get really close to them and take macro pictures of them.

But without getting too much off track, I forgot to mention that I also like the slightly blurred area of the flower that the bee is standing on. It's not too sharp to take away the focus from the bee, but it's also not so blurry that you pass it over visually.

The larger size is awesome! It's so cool to be able to see the little bits of pollen sticking to the bees legs...When do you ever get to be that close to a bee that you can see that?!?! Very cool!

Hi BabetteKD! I used to be afraid of bees and most of the flying insects.
As much as I loved Bees it wasn't easy to break the barrier of fear but
after buying my macro lens I gradually learnt how to get closer carefully.

Right now I chase them and get as close as my lens allows me!
Glad to know that you liked how the area around the bee turned to be!
I truly enjoyed reading your opinion about this photo! Thank you
