![]() ![]() ![]() I had my 2nd engagement photoshoot last Sunday. Like many days in Seattle, it was raining. So I had to work around it otherwise I had to reschedule the couple. So, I had couple indoor shots in the old bookstore, and outdoor shots in Pioneer square. I love the idea of them walking through the rain together under the umbrella. I also played with the idea of them running through the rain under his jacket. It turned out to be such a fun photoshoot. So, just want to share these with everybody here. Comments/thoughts are welcome.

Is there a theme to the third one? Is that the "we won't always agree on everything but to make a successfull marriage work we must learn that neither of us will always get what we want" pose?
![]() nice pictures by the way. |

I'm hearing Alanis Morissette singing the line "It's like rain on your wedding day" from her song Isn't it Ironic? The energy that went into overcoming the elements brings out the "we're-in-this-together" feeling you strive for in engagement shots. You're so good at the technical elements of photography that it frees you up to do that one all important thing when taking engagement pictures: have fun. They are having fun but, clearly, you are too. It shines through these photos.
