Great idea! I found it rather difficult to select my personal four favorites...but, well, here they are.

Quick question...how to I make the pictures appear larger in the post itself?

EDIT: Thanks, jim.

Had to really hunt to find 4 good shots (hate to use the term "best" cause I'm a very mediocre shooter).

I had a hard time picking just four. I've taken so many wildly different pictures just since August.

Default My Best of 2008 (IMO)

The choices were alot more difficult than I would have thought. Even though I'm still using my "Bridge" camera, I can still see such an improvement in the quality of my shots (over my 2007 shots). I owe the credit for my improvement to DPS. Without you guys, my shots wouldn't be worthy of storing in a shoebox. Thanks for feeding my addiction. My goal for 2009: Own a Canon 450D, a 50mm F1.4 lens and enough lighting and background supplies to start my business. Once the business is going, I'd like to be successful enough to buy more glass (Macro and Telephoto lenses).

Thanks for looking, and thanks for all of the comments these shots received.
