Default landscapes: not quite fall and the forgotten

Here are two of my all time favorites. both were taken in the past month or so. and friends have said they want the second one enlarged and framed for there homes. so i thought i'd share.

I really like the second picture Matt. I don't know why, but old broken down barns make some really cool pictures.

i think it has something to do with the quiet passage of time (for me anyway). nature is just working on the structure and no one really takes note.

Always been a fan of old barns and you composed this one nicely. The tree makes it seem that you're sitting hidden on the sideline watching time pass by.
Around here all the old barns are under mountains of blackberries

thanks for the words, it was just this grand old barn in a clearing off the road.
