Hi lindyannajones!
Well, was called 'clumsy/lefty' as child by my dad.I was always tripping over and bumping into things. The reason was my wanting to 'see' everything and 'miss' nothing-only realised this when I got a camera in my hands for the first time.Lived on roller skates for speed, too.

I get about 4 hrs 'rest'-perceptive woman!!
Same as you, light also has a fascination for me.
As they say,'Nothing comes from nothing' (SofMusic)...............somewhere in my genes!

Thank you very much Paul! Yes-wouldn't it be awful to 'not notice' big parts of our day/surroundings!
The palms are very hypnotic.........thank you for the lovely saying and the feedback.

Love the photos Moi. Which part of Saudi? My husband leave St. Louis on the 5th (next Wed.) for Saudi for a two week trip for work. He is going to Bahrain.

Edit: Actually he flies in there but is going to Ad Dammam

Hi Lori-Bahrain is a different country, next door to Saudi Arabia. It's possible to drive from Saudi across a bridge into Bahrain.I'm in the capital of Saudi-Riyadh.It would take my driver 3.5 hrs to get there.

The weekend in Bahrain is Friday/Sat. but in Saudi it's Thursday/Friday.

Mind you-women are allowed to drive in Bahrain.
Many Saudis cross into Bahrain for the weekend so that they can drink!! I was there for 2 days last week on business and in the 5 star hotel there were two men, drunk at breakfast-6.45 am!!

wow, I don't think he will be doing any of that! Yes, he did say Bahrain is a different country, but they are flying into there and they get picked up and driven to Ad Dammam to Dahran (some Air Force base) where they will all stay. He will be there for 2 weeks then come back home for two weeks then flies back over for another two weeks. Are you from Saudi (I'm suspecting not) or just working there?

Hi Lori-it's a really short drive from Bahrain into KSA.No,I'm British but been an ex-pat for 25 years:Brunei/Dubai/Saudi.

I'm a consultant here-based in the Diplomatic Quarter,Riyadh. The Eastern Province,Dammam etc. is much more relaxed than Riyadh-he should enjoy the trip.Hope so.Keep in touch and let me know.OK?

I don't give many WOWs but... WOW!

Colour: wondeful
Composition: wonderful

I said somewhere else you can only take what you can get. You have more restrictions than most but get more interesting shots than most. Brill!
