Default Koorhaan anyone?

koorhaan

GOTCHA! This bird is a Black Koorhaan belonging to the Bustard bird family. It is quite a striking looking bird and puts on the most amazing territorial display. I tired to catch one in action but they were just too fast. The fly quite high into the air and then fold their wings and drop like a stone. It is quite something to see.

What beautiful colors and clarity. You did a great job capturing the beauty without a ton of PP if any. Keep it up, I always look forward to seeing more of your work.

NobleEagle you are simply way to kind and you are also correct. I did nothing more to this other than a slight crop. It is SOOC. Oh the temptation was there as I am on such a pp kick at the moment BUT this bird is just beautiful on its own I decided to show it in its 'naked' glory. It has a subtle color and tremendous texture that begged to be left alone
