Yes but for the purpose of being able to find them again myself. Tagging will help though (other people will also find the image) as will posting it in lots of groups (although you have to be careful because a lot of the mandatory comment type groups apparently have a negative effect on whether you arrive in Explore). If you have a lot of friends who favourite and comment on your pictures, that will definitely boost things up.

Without being bias, and to add to what Wulf cited above, it seems that your picture also need to be somehow just good or brilliant in its art. But about the classification (or the # number), i still have no clue.

I don't know about those numbers either...I was getting tired of reading the FAQs on it.

I had one tag on the picture of naya and posted it to a couple of groups only. I had more tags on the panda and posted her to more groups and she's now been dropped from Explorer.
