Default First photo shoot

hey everyone,

i recently did my first photo shoot ever, it was so much fun! i can see why people like to do this for a living hehe. i had posted a topic in the techniques forum, Fashion Photography tips and got some great tips from you guys. anyway, jus wanted to share and let me know what you guys think. it had jus finished raining so it was very overcast. and it actually started raining when we were wrapping up, so perfect timing!

I don't think it would have mattered who took the pictures. Beautiful! LOL

Just kidding - I like the second best. In the first shot I get the feeling that she's about to tumble over backwards.

The lighting in both shots is used well and gives the ladies a very natural look.

Now that I'm looking at the second one again (I still like it) but the angle is bothering me a bit. I think it would have helped if the face of your lens was perpendicular to the model so that your camera and the model's body would have formed more of a T. (was the camera leveled?) Seeing the ledge the she's sitting on gradually tilt is distracting and I would also see if the photo looks better with her hidden foot and hidden hand in view.

Normally I wouldn't post my opinion in the "Share your shots" forum but since you asked what we thought I tried to give you some feedback. I apologize in advance if you weren't looking for any. Overall that's a great great first effort. My advice is not based on professional photography experience or ANY experience at all. I'm just a guy looking at pictures. LOL

thanks for the comments everyone! i was really nervous at first, but in the end i had a great time. i think one of the things i had trouble with was framing the shot and trying to squeeze in all the hands and feet without putting too much space above their heads and below. i guess i could crop next time.

CJax: i'm not sure i quite understand what you mean by forming a T with the camera and the model. yea i guess the camera wasn't perfectly level, shucks. and by all means, feedback is always welcome by me, it's the only way i'll learn

thanks again everyone
