The beginings of bruchetta!

I got away from using my 35mm Macro for quite a while, been using my 14-54mm kit lens. With the purchase of my new tripod I was able to take some better quality macro shots!

Now, I just need to do better at composing them

Default Constantly Moving

I also stuck to shooting at 50mm this weekend, a popular focal length I see! My main subject for the weekend was my 10 month old son, who is constantly on the move. So the biggest challenge for me was getting an in-focus shot before he moved on to his next adventure. Here are two of my favorites.

I ended up going with my 50mm f1.4 all weekend - it was a lot of fun. We had two birthday parties to go to so it meant a lot of moving around to get in close but it was a good experience. Here's one of our little new fellow:

Default Great idea!

I loved this challenge! I know I'm way late in submitting my results, but better late than never!
I chose to shoot with my 70-300mmVR lens at the 300mm length, which I do use often for nature shots but not for portaits, so I thought it would be lots of fun and challenging too....and ya...it was both!
Heres a couple of my faves:
Ahhhh sweetness!
