For some of the assignments, I feel like I have an unfair advantage living in down town San Francisco because I have photo opportunities around every corner. But not any more. I pay 850 a month for a tiny one room apt. and this is what I see out my back window (no back door). Blue skys and majestic sun beams, forget about it.

This is the view from my back door after a particularly busy day in the skies:

Well, I do occasionally get great sunsets in my backyard.

And the occasional woodpecker (or two).

But, my God, that first picture in this thread? What a FABULOUS shot!

If you search the term "backdoor" in my flickr stream, you will see alternative views of our sunsets. (The photo links to my flickr stream)
Excellent rays! I'll upload my backdoor later and post it ^^

Oh wow, Deb - that's a beautiful sunset! I can hear woodpeckers around us, but haven't found them yet - now I'm motivated, because your shot is beautiful.

You folks consider yourselves lucky. Twelve feet from my backdoor is the front door of the drug smoking mexican dude that lives in the next trailer over. He'd probably come over swinging if I looked out the back door, much less tried taking a picture out of it.

Great shots to everyone else though!

Wink My frontdoor, a few days ago.

Here in Quebec, we had one of the worst winter since the last 30 years or so. So here's a photo of my street just a few weeks ago. But beside that, it's the usual suburb (north of Montréal) look.

This is a few images stitched together, of course! I could have done the same for the backyard, but that was least interesting.
