I don't have a back door, since I'm on the third floor of my condo complex, but I do have a window seat. Sadly, it doesn't overlook anything too exciting. Except for one day, back in February.

That day, it got to overlook police standoff, complete with SWAT team:

Thanks. I only ever do adjustment to levels, curves, and shadows & highlights. I try to leave images with very little post processing work.

The view from my backdoor is uncut grass, bare patches that turn to mud when it rains, weeds (some pretty weeds, AKA "wildflowers"), toys, and the fence that my kids are in the process of destroying, LOL. It only looks pretty if you frame the shot very carefully:

Unfortunately one of the best photos of my late dog, Spot.

The view from my back door?

Well if anyone wants a shot of Hunter Region Mail Centre (Newcastle, Australia), I'll happily oblige ... lol

Default All I see is a domesticated predator out back...

Toonces is eye-balling a tree rodent, sporting her harness and bungie cord.

While I don't have those beautiful sunsets, I am glad I have this as my backdrop.
