My guess would be silk - the yellow part under the flowers look like plastic and appear sharply molded. Can you tell I don't know a lot about flowers?

I have to agree with the yellow part under the flowers, but if I didn't read that comment, I wouldn't have known. The petals look real to me :-)

looks silk to me. I don't really see the softness that the flower would have. I can show you a pic of a real one that I took but I don't want to hyjack your thread. LOL. It is an interesting shot. Have you thought of cropping it a bit to pull the eyes in more?

The left side looks real but the right side looks fake I think once you can see the stems, the lack of little hairs and imperfections on the stems gives it away instantly - and the underside of the flowers doesn't look right.

THAT being said (you did ask!), I think this photo is absolutely GORGEOUS. Very well done

thanks guys, it's silk, i am a newbie in DP so i take pictures whatever i see around the house, can't wait for spring flowers, too bad no signs of spring yet where i live
