Default Please help me pick one!

Im sorry im posting 2 images, i really need you guys help me pick one of these shots. Brief was to highlight only the earring, and was not to show the model too much. Which one do you guys prefer? How could i improve. Need the negative space for the body copy. Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Both are nice pictures. I like thi first one hte best. I can't tell you why. It's jus a feeling i have.

Both photos portray different moods because of the model's expression. I am drawn to each for differing reasons. The first is more warm and inviting as my eye goes straight to the model's smile- not to the earring. The second is more mysterious and my eye is drawn towards the earring...so that would mean I choose #2.

Thank you, so now that one each and im still confused. Think I should just re-shoot cos when i get that shot, i will know it.

I prefer No 2 as the lighting looks more natural on the jewelry.

It's better to photograph with your point and shoot camera, than not photographing with your heavy stuff that's still at home.

Yeah that is true, the colour of the product is true, which is a plus.

I would say number one as well. Though, if the color rendition were closer to number 2, it would be a more confident vote. The issue I have with the second photo is the angle of the earing. The angle is a little too severe to highlight the product imho...Nice photos though!

I prefer No. 2 - The colors are much more natural and there is that mysterious aura to it that makes me want to know a little bit more about the subject. Definitely the second.
