Mines was of a fellow photographer on a foggy morning. We were both out there before work and couldn't resist the allure of the fog. We ended up taking similar exposures of each other head above the fog.

Had fun with the first photo I posted on DPS and a polar panorama tutorial I read here, too.

Great thread! Mine is a picture of me wearing his Russian army hat on a winter camping trip. I don't usually have a beard either, but I did for that trip and between the snow, the beard and the hat I sure like like I belong somewhere in Russia. It was taken in Pennsylvania though .

Here is the color version of Trogdor the Burninator that I used for my avatar.
(I'm not sure who drew this version)

Here is the original pencil sketch drawn by Strongbad

You'll need to check out Homestarrunner.com is you want to know more.

Loving this thread!!

This is one of my favorite shots of my baby boy.

Baby Boy Blue

I had posted my horrible post-processing result on the DPS Critique forum and ELAY came to the rescue and fixed it for me. (I even blogged about it. ha!) He also introduced me to the wacky world of GIMP.

It's not coming up as your avatar - you have to add the picture in your User CP (control panel) for it to show up with every post. The picture you have in mind should work well though.

Thanks Wulf - I thought I had done that already, but obviously I didn't. Now it should show
