I bought my dSLR used, but took it to the local camera store to have them tell me if the price is fair. This is the first shot I took with it.

Default Birthday Trip to NYC

My husband bought me my camera for my birthday last year and planned a trip into the city so I could use it. I was so surprised! Here is the very first shot I took with my Canon Rebel XT. We were on our way to the MET from Penn Station and decided to walk a bit so I could get some good use of my new camera. Would love some feedback! The only thing I did to the picture so far was to brighten it up a bit because the people at the bottom were really dark.

Here it is--just taken last night! The cats have been my only (willing) subjects thus far.
