These are from the "Classics of the Sky" air show held in our city last weekend. Big thanks to Boomer for some sound advice he gave just before I rushed out the door and to all the others who helped me on my way for the 2nd day. These are by no means perfect(I sort of went overboard with my shutter speed *wink*) but I'm more than thrilled with the outcome and I've also had plenty of positive feedback from the many people I've sent the links too. Who knows I might just earn me something to feed my habit! And as inkista mentioned they are much easier to capture than the birds that I normally follow. TFL.

Nice set. TFS. It is difficult to slow down the shutter enough to get prop blur and keep the rest of the image sharp.

Thanks for your comments, prop blur is what I'll be aiming for next time, whenever that will be as there are no air shows planned in the near future. Although I rather like that the planes look like toys
Someone(not here on DPS) mentioned using a ND filter with a slower s/s would help keep the sky nice & blue. Would that be the case?
