Default Bouldering at Horsetooth Reservoir, Colorado

A few friends and I went out Bouldering a few weeks ago and here are a few of my favorite shots:

Nice shots. How about going much tighter on #3 to give the illusion the climber is much higher in the air.

Nice shots! I was looking at the water in the background, it seems much higher this year than last year.
Did you notice if there was very much sand or anything on the roads? We like to ride our motorcycles through there (and stopping for lunch at Vern's Place) but worry about sand in the corners this time of year.

I've only been up to Horsetooth twice so I'm not familiar with sand on the road. I didn't notice any when I was up there and there were a lot of motor cycles riding around. That is a good sign, right? It is beautiful up there though. I keep hoping for a sunny day but have gotten clouds both times now.

Sweeettt!!!! Awesome to see these! I lived in Fort Collins for 13 years and spent countless afternoons on the Dakota sandstone at Horsetooth. In fact, the Fort Collins Front Range is where I cut my teeth on photography before turning pro.

Nice shots- they make me miss the place.

I live in Greeley, and in the spring and summer we spend a lot of time in the mountains. When we want to take shorter rides (less than 4 hours) we will ride Horsetooth, Carter Lake, and Stove Prairie Rd. If I want to take pics I have to ride as passenger behind my hubby, otherwise I'm on mine.

Alaska is on my bucket list for visiting, with plenty of memory cards to fill up lol. I have a brother in Kenai, and an aunt/uncle/cousin in Anchorage, which gives me a built in excuse to go, just have to have the time/money saved up.
