Default Alpine climbing, Alaska



Here's one of my all time favorites. This one made it into the 2012 Patagonia Mountain catalog this month. To me, the feeling of adventure just explodes off the page.

Shot with a Nikon D200 and older Tokina AF 17mm lens.

The image is fantastic - no doubt.

Funny thing - The first thoughts that popped into my head: Keeping the camera safe and workable in that environment - Yikes! Trying to get up there and get the shot and not unknowingly walk right off a cliff - Yikes! My hat is off to you.
