My honest opinion is you did very well. Looking at the picture I can't see much about it that I dont like. The subject is well illuminated, it's sharp enough, and good composition. I think it would be a blast to shoot skateboarders. A nice closeup of a midair ollie would be cool.
The only thing I might change is clone those white signs off the cement wall. Hope you don't mind my editing ![]() There you go, less distractions more focus on the rider! Nicely shot my friend!

Awesome man! Nice capture! You are doing it the right way, starting young! I used to skateboard when I was 14. I couldn't do any nose grinds but still!!
