First Attempt at Fireworks

The following is my first shot in which I have turned out to be successful in capturing a firecracker. Getting the shot required me to put my camera into burst mode & decrease the ISO to decrease the noise in the shot.



The above was shot at,

Shutter Speed : 1/10th of a Second
ISO : 200
Aperture : F 2.8
Metering : Center Weighted
Flash : Not Fired
Focus : Manual Focus set to infinity

Could I have done better with the above shot? Do note a tripod was not used.

I've only shot fireworks once, but I used a smaller aperture and used bulb mode, leaving the shutter open for 5 to 10 seconds at a time. This would get multiple bursts in the frame and doesn't require the spray and pray method for capturing a burst in the frame.

I could have done that but I was without my tripod.
