Default Soaring to a Touchdown

Hello everyone.... this is my first post in FOREVER. I took this photo a few months ago at a Nebraska Husker game. I was sitting quite a ways up but i was very pleased with the way it turned out. I'm wondering-----what do you think about the color?? The Crop?? and the photo in general. Critique away.... I want to get better so be harsh if u have to. thanks.

Nice capture. Maybe a bit sharper would be nice. Looks like Nebraskas offensive line was solid.

I agree with Johnny and Adam. Nice capture of the moment. I think the timing was perfect. A little sharper might be helpful. Maybe bring up the brightness a tad.

I would crop it along the sideline and get rid of the legs/feet. Other than that, very nice capture.

Great shot. When I first looked at this, nothing really pops out at me. Thinking further, I agree, you can probably sharpen this photograph up a bit and, I would try to adjust the white balance a bit. Maybe set your white point using one of the yardage lines. It may be my monitor, but I'm seeing just a hint of red.

I wouldn't crop the people on the side lines. It's important to have some of these elements to give a sense of being in the midst of the action. But I would crop some off the bottom and probably along the right side just about past where you see a referee walking along the sidelines, still leaving in some of the white and maroon lettering. You'd still get a sense of being in the stadium, but it would bring the players closer and increase the impact of the play.

These are just suggestion. I quite enjoyed the shot as presented. It's a good one.

I'm always on the sidelines and it's nice to see another angle. Yea, I agree....crop out the sidelines.
