Default Moving bird - too dark?

I took this shot at around 4:50 pm, December 5th. At this time of year, that was pretty dark out.
I was trying to get a bunch of birds caught in flight, but that were all just blurry. I like this one the best, but it still needs some help. I guess my main problem was lack of light so I could make the shutter fast enough.
I *think* the birds are crisp enough maybe, but the sky looks grainy or something.

I kind of like the blur of the wings because it shows movement, but I would have liked it better if it was clear.

I guess my question is - is there any other way to get more light to allow a faster shutter?

ISO 3200 (ah HA! I just answered my own question about grainy sky)

I actually like this photo. At most, to help reduce the graininess of the sky, you could use a noise reduction software.

I like the photo. Maybe B&W conversion would solve the problem with color noise. The sharpness is though an another question.
