Lightbulb Speed Matters

Speed Matters

Hey all,

Its my first Panning I think it is good but i need to know more one how to enhance my Panning!.

I don't remember much of my camera settings when i too this picture but my camera is a D6o Nikon. Lens is a range from 18-55 (standard with a D60) ISO was 100 I think (a very sunny day indeed) and of course a very high shutter speed.

it seems you nailed the panning part...your subject is too underexposed. You should probably go back to the exif data and see what your shutter speed was as "very high shutter speed" does nothing to help you understand what you need to do next time.

High shutter speed and panning don't go together. You need a slow shutter speed for panning. The exact speed, of course, depends on the speed of the subject and your ability.

If you change the settings within your flickr under the Privacy & Permissions, change "Hide your EXIF data" to No and it will then be available for viewing from flickr.

Assuming he didn't use 'save for web' in Photoshop, or some other way of stripping the exif from the file before uploading it.
