The sharpness and the colour of the motorbike was great. However, in my opinion, the composition would have been better if the bike was at the left end of the picture, rather than the right end, giving the bike more space to "move". Still, great shot.

The composition would work better if the bike was showing some motion blur. Otherwise it is better for the subject to be coming into the frame instead of exiting it. It looks to me like you were panning with the bike which made for nice blur in the background but got to him too late.

I have to disagree with the other two. I think the composition is great. If you left "space to move into" I'd bet this photo wouldn't feel nearly as fast. If he's on the left I'd look at the picture and say "hm.. he's got a lot of ground to cover" as it is, I look at it and say "da*n he was really flying down that stretch.".

Generally, leaving space for things to move into is a good idea. I think this is an exception.

Also, panning got plenty of motion blur on the wheels and background, why would anyone want motion blur on the bike/rider?

Nice use of thirds.

reckon its better on the right hand side - gives a sense that you were aiming to catch him on the left or in the middle (as per the 'rules') and he was too fast for you, nearly leaving the frame before you fired your shot.

Overall, I thnk the background is a bit undersaturated - it looks rather bland, but then since the bike and rider is so vivid, this kind of adds to the difference.

Nice shot - way better than anything I could take of a moving motorbike :P
