I'm a newie and I took pictures in an indoor handball game with very, very poor ilumination. The game is really fast, similar to basketball. For the conditions I think that the pictures came out pretty good. I used a 40 D with shutter speed of 500, 2.5 aperture and 1600 ISO with a 50mm compact macro lens, its the only lens I have, for now, I hope.
Any tips will be appreciated. Last edited by amid; 09-08-2009 at 02:42 AM. |

its still a bit dark, but you shouldn't slow the shutter down any or you will get motion blur.... no flash allowed in this game ? if so, using flash with a shutter 200 would still be sharp i think.
